Vacation Bible School

GOOD NEWS!

Due to COVID concerns And wanting to keep your families safe, we will be putting together VBS packets with crafts and lessons for your kids to do with you at home this summer!

If you live locally and have children aged preschool to 6th grade and are interested in participating please let us know.  We want to make sure we have enough for everyone!

You may email the church office at duanesburgchurch@gmail.com or 518.895/2448.  For now we simply need to know how many children and what grade they are going into.

Thank you! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Corporate Worship

Dear DRPC Members and Regular Attenders,

We will return to corporate worship on Sunday, July 12th and are looking forward to and preparing to see everyone who is comfortable attending.   The livestreaming of the worship service to our Facebook page on Sunday mornings will continue.  Anyone who is older/health compromised or just not ready to return for in-person worship is encouraged to worship with us online.

We will meet for morning worship only; Sunday School, Nursery, Evening Bible Study, and Fellowship will resume at a later time.

The Worship Service will be a little different right now and there will be some changes in the building as we continue to adapt.  Here’s what you can expect:

  • We request anyone attending wear a mask – if you forget yours, a mask will be provided.
  • Enter through the lobby and exit through the side doors.
  • Confidential attendance record will be kept.
  • Some rooms will be closed for cleaning/sanitizing purposes - the lobby, sanctuary and lobby bathrooms will be open and the interior doors will be propped open (bathroom doors will remain shut).
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be provided in the lobby and sanctuary.
  • Sing with masks on, the service will have a reduced number of songs.
  • Pre-packaged units for the Lord’s Supper; people will come forward to receive.
  • Offering drop boxes will be located in the aisles.
  • Bottled water will be available.
  • Non-latex gloves will be available.

Our focus has been and will continue to be on the safety of you and your loved ones.  If you have any questions, please contact Ward Humphrey; he will be handling any COVID related questions. (518.391.0382 or ward5261@gmail.com)

Love,

COVID-19 Update

Due to public health concerns, the church leadership has made the decision to suspend on-site services. This decision is not made out of fear, but with wisdom, discernment, and mindfulness.

The safety of you and your loved ones during this time is important to us, and so in lieu of meeting in person, we will instead live stream services on our Facebook page.  There will also be a link on our website.  You do not need to have a Facebook account, just follow the link on the website.

Thank you for your prayers, patience and perseverance. We will continue to keep you updated via email, our website and Facebook page.

Covid-19

"To assist with our local efforts at limiting the potential spread of the Covid-19 virus, we are suspending all activities except morning and evening worship.  We are encouraging everyone who is ill to stay home."

Thank You - DRPC Board of Elders
